A:Yes, all adults admitted to the hospital will be cared for by your doctor (either Dr. McMillion or Dr. Haley). They share call with each other, so you may be seen by the other doctor if you are admitted at night. However, your primary doctor will assume care the next business day.

Q:Do you admit children to the hospital?
A:After much discussion we have decided to use UAB pediatrics as our admitting doctors for our pediatric patients. This decision was made in order provide the most up to date and specialized care for your children. Dr. Knight and her team of pediatricians specialize in hospital pediatric care and we trust them to provide the best care for our pediatric patients.
