Dr. McMillion is a native of Huntsville, Alabama and grew up on Monte Sano Mountain. He is the son of Jim McMillion, a retired NASA engineer and Pat McMillion a retired school teacher. He attended Huntsville High School, UAH, and received his medical degree from The University of Alabama School of Medicine (UAB). David completed his residency at the Huntsville Family Medicine Residency Program and is board certified in Family Medicine. During residency he served as Chief Resident and received several honors including Outstanding Teaching Resident by the class of 2007. He is married to his beautiful wife Mandy and they have one son. In his spare time he enjoys mountain and road biking, and spending time with his family and friends.
