Dr. Haley was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the daughter of an Army family. Growing up, she experienced life and traveled throughout the United States and Japan. Her family finally settled at Fort McClellan in Anniston, Alabama where she attended Alexandria High School. In 1997, she received her Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Biology and Chemistry at Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama. In 2004, Dr. Haley received her Doctorate in Medicine (MD) from the University of Alabama in Birmingham School of Medicine (UAB), and in 2007, she completed her resident training in Family Medicine at the UAB Family Medicine Program in Huntsville. Upon graduation, Dr. Haley was chosen to receive the faculty award for Most Outstanding Resident in her graduating class, and was also selected as the Most Outstanding Resident by her fellow residents. The specialist faculty also awarded Elisa the Outstanding Family Practice Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Internal Medicine. Dr. Haley is board certified in Family Medicine. She currently serves on the Madison Medical Society Board and is a member of the Junior League of Huntsville. She and husband Michael have two beautiful girls.
